Too much corporate training is bland and uninspiring. Learning management systems are used just to convey information through non-interactive resources. Learners read documents and then do a quiz – normally passing and so the company is happy – but what is the situation a month down the line – what do they remember then?
Engagement is vital if learners are to retain information which they will then use in their working lives. Games can give them that engagement.
