Free Online Courses to Exercise Your Brain

Fotolia_55340530_XS_500_357Hannah von Bank from Allen Interactions has picked out three providers of free courses, Khan Academy, Code Academy and Coursera.

All of these have free courses which, as Hannah says, would allow you to spend just 15-30 minutes a day learning a new skill (or practicing a challenging one) allowing brain cells to make new connections and produces numerous benefits including: improved memory, increased focus, faster thinking, and even prevention of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
