Not only does it ‘state the bleeding obvious’ it includes a number of little gems that often get forgotten. Plus, we all forget ‘the bleeding obvious’ and don’t consider it when designing courses.
Now that we have much better capabilities for getting learners to interact using classic social media applications, we can at last get more of our learners to ‘put their hands up’ and let us know what they are thinking and add suggestions as to where there might be a better way to present or explain certain points.
